Purpose
 
The JSK x GEARS Racing H2P Rear Suspension System was developed for riders seeking improved comfort, stability, and suspension performance from their BMW R12 and R12 nineT.
 
Designed for both daily riding and spirited performance use, the H2P system delivers greater confidence, improved chassis control, and a more refined riding experience.
 
For riders who frequently switch between solo riding, two-up touring, or carrying additional luggage, the optional HSP (Hydraulic Spring Preload System) upgrade provides a fast and convenient way to adjust spring preload without the need for tools.
 
Design
 
At the core of the system is the GEARS Racing H2P rear shock featuring a monotube oil-gas separation design and GEARS Racing’s patented dual horizontal reservoir system.
 
The H2P platform offers independent compression and rebound damping adjustment, allowing riders to fine-tune suspension behavior based on road conditions, riding style, and load requirements.
 
For maximum adaptability, customers may choose the optional HSP Hydraulic Spring Preload System. The remote hydraulic adjuster allows preload changes in seconds, making it easy to compensate for passengers, luggage, or varying riding conditions while maintaining proper suspension sag and chassis balance.
